We would be delighted to have you visit the department! You are welcome to attend one of our organized information sessions to learn more about our graduate program or you may arrange an individual visit.

Friday October 16th, 2009, Ph.D. Program Information for Prospective Students. An organized information session will be held in the afternoon from 1:30 - 3:30 to discuss the Ph.D. program, opportunities for financial support in graduate school, and the department application process. As part of this, students will have an opportunity to meet with graduate students and faculty members. If you would like to attend, please email the academic coordinator, Jerry Fisher, at JFisher@admin.fsu.edu to register.

Other information session dates will be added as needed. If you would like to attend one but cannot attend on the date listed above, please contact Jerry Fisher, at JFisher@admin.fsu.edu.

Campus Visits for Students Accepted to Our Program. During the spring, we invite all students who have been offered funding packages to visit the department and we provide financial assistance to help with travel expenses. These visits allow students to see first-hand the collaborative and stimulating graduate program we've created. Students meet with faculty and current students so that they may ask any questions they have about our program. We work with each prospective student individually to tailor their visit to their interests and needs. Once financial awards have been made, we will contact each student to assist with planning a campus visit.
