Amanda DriscollAssistant Professor Tel: 850.644.4276 Background:Ph.D., Washington University in St. Louis, 2012. My research and teaching interests center on comparative democratic institutions with special regard for legislative and judicial institutions in Latin America. More generally I am interested in inter-branch relations, electoral institutions, and quantitative political methodology. Research Agenda:My research considers legislators' incentives for instigating conflict with national judicial institutions, and how legislators' might use said conflict for their own electoral gain.
