Fields of specialization include international relations, conflict, international organizations, and research methodology. Research Agenda:Megan Shannon’s research explores how countries manage and peacefully settle disputes, as well as the influence of international organizations on conflict and conflict management. Her recent publications include 2010 articles in the Journal of Politics and International Studies Quarterly. She has also published work on political methodology in the American Journal of Political Science.
